Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

A few years ago, I heard of this organization called Girls Learn to Ride, and I thought it seemed pretty cool. One of the classes they taught was surfing at Bolsa Chica, so I tried it. After my lesson I fell in love with the sport and I've been sufing every since, which has been like 4 1/2 years.

What are you planning for next season?

Next season I hope to get ranked higher in WSA, and try to compete in more contests in general.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

So far, my biggest accomplishment has been making it to the NSSA Jr. Championships this year, and then getting in the top 4 in short board and 5th in long board in my school league finals this year.
