  John, I read Bikedivas comment. I just bought a cheapo Schwinn at Target and raced it two days later in a Duathlon in which I took 1st in my div and then a couple of weeks later in a sprint tri and took second place in my div. Those were my first ever Du and Tri. It felt nice rolling by those 6K bikes. I know the bike sometimes makes a difference but you ride the bike, the bike doesnt ride you.

Keep us updated on your search for a tri bike. I started doing a few time trials this year and have been looking into getting a tri bike, once my budget allows it. Well, in my dreams I'm waiting for someone to sponsor me and send me a mondo cool TT bike. :)
