Lachlan Carracher Professional Kayaker

About Me

I am a 19 year old athlete from Melbourne, Australia and have been competing on the Australian team since I was 16.

I spend my time traveling the world in search of different rivers, waterfalls and waves. My journeys last year brought me to Canada, Uganda, the USA, Italy and the UK. Later this year I head off to compete in the World Cup in Switzerland, from there I will travel to South East Asia (Laos and Thailand) to explore the remote mountain regions where few have been before.

Early next year I will be living on the Australian Coast in search of the perfect wave and training for Australian team selections and further on to the world championships in Switzerland.

My sport is my life and I love it!
