Legendary waterman and H2O Audio ambassador Dave Kalama will be taking up the paddle portion for team H2O Audio at the H2O Audio Surf Monkey event August 8th in Oceanside California.  Kicking butt and taking names in the run portion of the event will be H2O Audio’s CEO and co founder Kristian Rauhala.  The short straw ceremony to name the participant of the swim portion of the race will be held tomorrow in the H2O Audio office.

We here at H2O Audio are proud to announce the first annual H2O Audio Surf Monkey event.  The H2O Audio Surf Monkey is a one day Run, Swim, Paddle event at Oceanside pier in Oceanside California on Sunday August 8th. Athletes from all over the world will participate in a 5 kilometer beach run followed by a 1 mile open water swim topped off with an 8 mile paddleboard race to the finish. All participants will receive a race t-shirt and sponsor goodies, post race refreshments, & entry into a drawing to win all kinds of cool prizes. Participants can choose to do any of the events as a single discipline or enter in the 3 event stage race to compete for the coveted King & Queen Monkey title.
