Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?
Started out snowboarding at first then my dad ended up buying a lake house. I knew about wakeboarding at that point but I never thought about trying it. One day my dad and I were shopping at a local pro shop and we decided to buy a wakeboard. I tried it out that day....and after about 30 trys I got up and have been hooked ever since.
List your competitive highlights:
-Getting 2nd place at 2 of the Outlaw Fort Fremont Marine Grassroots Tournaments.
- Competing at WWA Nationals
What are you planning for next season?
- Ride twice as much as I did this year.
- Compete at all three Fort Fremont Marine Hyperlite Grassroots Tournaments.
- Compete at WWA Nationals.
- Compete In the BS(Board Shop in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin) Tour Series.
- Compete at WWA Worlds.
- Become a better all around rider.
- Learn more technical tricks.
- Travel to Florida a few times to ride at OWC.
- Make a 2008 Wakeboarding Video
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
- Competing at WWA Nationals
- Placing 2nd in two of the outlaw division tournaments at Fort Fremont Marine in Fremont, Wisconsin.
- Learning all the tricks I can do now.

hey man, im josh, anyways, i just checked out the 09 ronix gear at the surf expo, it's so tight. Super light bindings, and the boards seem to have basic yet efficient deseigns that are going to maximize pop and decrease drag on the water. just letting you know since i saw your vid and you are riding ronix and i thought you might be interested in hearing about the new stuff. |
