the cable worlds ! - phillipines
Hey guys i just recently made the journey to the phillipines ! what an odd place to go to right ? but it was for the cable world championships, at of course the best cable in the world ! well my trip started out from flying from orlando-chicago-hong kong-to manilla, and then the next day flew to naga, where the cable is. the first day i got to naga we went to the cable park witch we stayed at-at the cable they have cabanas you can stay in only just a few meters away from the cable! so anyways, once i got to the cable i amedietly rode. the cable was amazing ! the kickers and rails were so sick ! a few days after was the compatition, i did pretty good in quarter finals, my run consisted of a switch ts 5, a backlip the whole a-frame,front board this huge taxi ( is what they call it ) a switch 270 on to back 90 on on the picnic table, a transfer to back lip, and then i fell on a switch toe 7, it was okay, but i still run my heat. then in semis i did an indy glide same rail tricks then i landed a toe 7 in semis, and repeated the same thing for finals. it was great ! so ended up taking the win and was the 2007 womens cable champion! the trip was awesome, i met some of the coolest people there and cant wait to return for another amazing trip to the phillipines ! xxxx -Anna Heres a video from the phillipines- http://youtube.com/watch?v=0MeYH7AQAhw
